Lohani are a Pashtun tribe found in Pakistan espacially in the region of dera ismail khan and tank, and can also be found in other parts of South Asia. Land Lord Miraj ud din Khan lohani and Salah ud din khan lohani are one of the biggest names of Lohani family from Dera ismail khan

They have been a pastoral people as well as a merchant clan that used to conduct trade between India and the regions up to the Amu River in Central Asia .
