Description
The table games described in this book are based on the table games described in the Elstron Table Games (Volume 1), and are compatible with the ideas outlined in the Elstron Table Games (Volume 2). When developing these 'lesser board games' the aim was to adhere to the spirit of easy to learn but hard to master, whilst developing games which took less time to play and would be more suitable for young people on the journey to playing Volume 1 games.

Summary
This book defines the rules for playing a set of table games which are based on the table games described in the Elstron Table Games (Volume 1) but designed to be much easier to play.

Excerpt
Preface The games described in this book follow on from the 'elite' games described in the Elstron Table Games (Volume 1). These games have been referred to, by Elstron sources, as "children's games" or "pleb's games". Personally I think such terms can be misleading, and would strongly recommend readers to make up their own minds. The approach taken in this book (Volume 3) is to define the rules in a loose but matter of fact way, with many references back to Volume 1 being used. In general specific rules (or if one prefers laws) are defined in natural language with supporting diagrams added for clarity and convenience. The use of examples, technical analysis, and implementation details are avoided, however study of Volume 2 may provide some useful clues in these areas as to a large extent these games are based on or related to Volume 1 games. The following points should be borne in mind when reading this book: Some of these games have been rendered with little or no testing, so the games should not be considered proven. This book cannot be considered stand-alone as without access to Volumes 1 & 2 it is unlikely you the reader will be able to fully understand the games herein.
