Excerpt: DESCRIPTION OF CURRENT REVISIONS. In each May report, unadjusted value-in-place estimates are revised to incorporate additional data not previously available. Seasonally adjusted statistics are also revised using newly computed seasonal factors. The revised factors for January 1997-December 1999 were computed using data through April 2000. The revised factors for January-May 2000 were computed using data through May 2000. See AppendixD, Adjustments for Seasonal Variations and Cost Changes.
