1. INTRODUCTION The WHO Expert Committee on Professional and Technical Education of Medical and Auxiliary Personnel met in Geneva from 27 April to 1 May 1965. The meeting was opened by Dr P. Dorolle, Deputy Director-General who welcomed the participants on behalf of the Director-General. Professor R. Debrt was elected Chairman, Professor V. V. Kovanov Vice-Chairman and Professor T. A. Lambo Rapporteur.
