Excerpt: ~ NOTICE ~ The National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology is an independent federal advisory committee that provides recommendations to the Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on a broad range of environmental issues. NACEPT provides balanced and expert assessments of policy matters related to the environmental programs of the United States. Its operation is supported by the EPA. The Superfund Subcommittee of NACEPT was formed in June, 2002 to consider the role of the NPL, Superfund mega sites, and Superfund Program performance measures in the context of other federal, state, and Tribal programs. The findings and recommendations of the Subcommittee as reflected in this report do not necessarily represent the views of the Environmental Protection Agency.
