Description
What does distance learning have to do with the Bible? How can a person who cannot go to a college campus become a Bible student? Are the incarcerated cut off from learning the word of God which could help them repent and change their lives? Integrity Bible College addresses these concerns in this Introduction to Integrity Bible College. You will learn the background and history of this non-profit outreach to those who most need salvation. There is also an application for admission so that even the incarcerated can study through distance learning at the Department of Corrections facility where they are doing their time.

Summary
Coursework for a distance learning degree in Biblical Studies. Contains syllabi for junior and senior year of college studies.

Excerpt
Integrity Bible College has its roots in the Bible Institute and Bible College movements in the United States. These movements began with the instruction of believers for worldwide Christian service following the Second World War and the Korean conflict. In the last 50 years residential instruction has become very expensive and, facing insufficient endowment, many fine Bible colleges have closed, replaced by distance learning models and the ascendancy of internet technology. In response to the felt need of educational recognition, most three year Bible Institutes have morphed into four years, degree granting Bible colleges. Integrity Bible Ministries was incorporated in February 2011 under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to facilitate the equipping of believers unable to pay for the high cost of resident education and for others for whom resident education is not a viable option. It was approved to grant degrees by the Florida Department of Education in August 2011 under section 1005.06(1)(5) of the Florida Education Code. Integrity Bible College has approximately 150 students as of 2021.
