SEBL iPAD SCRIPT Hi. Maria here with the School eBook Library. Today we are going to learn how to download eBooks and audio books to your iPad device. To begin, first navigate to the School eBook Library website. You can find us by typing SchoolLibrary.com into your browser. Or search for us using Google by typing School eBook Library and clicking Search. Selecting our site from the list of search results will bring you to our home page. Before we talk about how to download books to your iPad lets take a brief moment to investigate some of the exciting eBook discovery tools on the homepage. Our author spotlight updates regularly and our list of local favorites is fantastic because it lets you know what other readers who live in your area are enjoying. Our authors in the author’s community section And our eBook finder search engine near the top of the page. Today we will guide you through the eBook selection process while showing off our graphic novel section. First select the books tab in the main menu bar. When the drop down menu appears, select the graphic novel collection. This will bring you to our graphic novel collections page. Select our Adventures in the Darkness Collection. This brings you to a page displaying all of the currently available issues of this graphic novel. Lets select issue number 6, by tapping its title. This takes you to the Book Details Page. Where you can find all sorts of useful information about your selection. Such as the author, subject, title, what collection the book comes from and even the file size. Lets open the book by selecting either the book’s image or the file type icon. A window will pop up. Enter your username and password. And tap Log In. The book will now open on your device. Once you’ve made your selection we recommend that you open your book by using the iBooks reading app. As you can see the book has automatically been saved to your bookshelf and is now stored within the iPad itself. You can flip back and forth between pages, zoom in, zoom out and even adjust the brightness level of the page you’re reading by tapping the brightness icon located in the upper right hand corner of the screen. There are two different ways to view your bookshelf, the list view or the shelf view.
