The Taipei Times is now one of only two daily English-language printed newspapers in Taiwan, its competitor being The China Post. A third formerly print newspaper Taiwan News is now all online. Established in 1999, the Taipei Times is published by the Liberty Times Group, which publishes the Chinese-language newspaper the Liberty Times which has a pro-Taiwan independence editorial line.[1]

Along with such newspapers as George Soros.
